Dr. Samuel Elolu holds a PhD in Agricultural Sciences (Postharvest and Food Safety) from Humboldt University of Berlin. He is a researcher and project manager specializing in postharvest quality, food safety, nutrition-sensitive value chains, community nutrition, and food systems analysis.

Dr. Elolu is a highly experienced project manager. He served as the manager of TAGDev 1.0 at Gulu University, where he played a key role in driving the program’s success over its 8-year duration, empowering rural communities and advancing food system innovations. In his role as the associate program officer, he will oversee the overall operations, technical delivery, partnerships, and all other institutional processes in the TAGDev 2.0 program.
